Michael MacGarry is an award-winning visual artist based in Cape Town, whose work explores the ramifications of Western imperialism within the African continent. Michael is the recipient of a Gordon Institute for Performing and Creative Arts Fellowship for 2012 and his work was included on Contested Terrains, which opened at the Level 2 Gallery at Tate Modern,
